"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" kicks off its final season of 2014 at the A la Carte Pavilion in Tampa, Florida, with a battle between Puerto Rico's Jonathan "Pitbull" Vidal and Florida native Daniel "El Alacrán" Lozano for the World Boxing Organization's Latino Super flyweight title. René Giraldo and Jessi Losada, the most experienced sportscasting duo in boxing on U.S. Spanish-language television, will call the action.

Deportes Telemundo also allows fans to experience the event through a number of digital platforms, including instant photo updates at telemundodeportes.com, and @deportestelemundo on Instagram. A blow-by-blow account will be available on Twitter at @TelemundoSports.

Vidal (18-2, 10 KO) claimed the WBO Latino Super flyweight title in his last fight, with a devastating one punch knockout of Mexico's Juan "Loquito" Kantún on Boxeo Telemundo Ford's telecast on July 18th. It was a close bout heading into the 8th round, and that's when Vidal landed a crushing right hand on Kantun's chin. It was an impressive win for the Puerto Rican who is now ranked 7th in the world by the WBO.

Across the ring from him will be Lozano (12-1, 9 KO), who beat Mexico's Antonio Tostado by TKO in his last outing, a fight that was also televised on Boxeo Telemundo Ford. Lozano rebounded from the first and only defeat in his career, against Matthew Villanueva, with the best performance of his young career. The 24-year old, who comes from Mexican ancestry, displayed his power by dropping Tostado three times en route to the win that earned him the WBO Interim Latino Super flyweight belt and a top 12 ranking by the WBO.

"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" has three more stellar main events in its fall lineup. On Friday, October 10th Mexicans David "Severo" Carmona and Martín "Pini" Casillas collide for the WBO Interim Latino Super flyweight title at Salón José Cuervo in Mexico City. On October 17th Edgar "Nene" Ortega, of Torreon, and Pablo "Sepulturero" Munguía, of Mexico City, will fight for the WBO Latino Welterweight title in the same venue.

Finally, "Boxeo Telemundo Ford" will mark the end of its 2014 fall season, and its 25th anniversary celebration on October 24th, when former world title challenger Orlando "Fenómeno" Cruz, of Puerto Rico, and Mexican Rubén "Canelito" Tamayo face off in Kissimmee, Florida.

"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" has achieved record ratings in 2014, surpassing its successful numbers of 2013. Over the summer, it was the most watched boxing program on U.S. television regardless of language, with more than 566,000 viewers - a 65% increase over the same period last year, according to Nielsen. Its broadcast of the Jonathan "Pitbull" Vidal and Juan "Loquito" Kantún fight was the most viewed boxing program the week of July 14th, and in "Boxeo Telemundo Ford's" history, with more than 641,000 viewers.
