Bob Mould will follow up last month's triumphant debut appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman with an October 29 performance on CONAN on TBS.

Following the return to Conan--his previous visit to the show being last year's surprise team-up with Foo Fighters--Bob and the band will be off to Austin for the first ever Austin City Limits TV taping of his storied career, to take place November 1 and to air at later date TBD in the show's 38th season. For information on tickets, keep an eye on http://acltv.com/upcoming-tapings/.

Bob's ACL TV set promises to be an electrifying mix of catalogue classics and new gems from his new album Silver Age (Merge), which recently entered the Billboard 200 at #50, selling nearly 7000 units in the week since its September 4 release and marking Bob's highest chart debut since Sugar's File Under: Easy Listening nearly 20 years ago.

Bob's Silver Age/Copper Blue tour is faring similarly well, with two final shows of 2012 bookending the upcoming TV plays: October 30 at Los Angeles' El ReyTheater and November 2 at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin TX. Bob is backed on the tour by drummer Jon Wurster (Superchunk, The Mountain Goats) and bassist Jason Narducy (Split Single, Verbow), both of whom recorded Silver Age with him.
