The following report highlights the programming of ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA during the show's premiere week of July 9-13. "Good Afternoon America" is a one-hour program anchored by Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott. The program will air for nine weeks, MONDAY-FRIDAY from 2:00-3:00 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.

Highlights of the week include:

TUESDAY, JULY 10 - TV Land's "The Exes" stars Wayne Knight, Donald Faison and Kristen Johnson; Leslie Gold from TruTV's "Hardcore Pawn"; comedian DL Hughley; Stacy London from TLC's "What Not to Wear"

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11 - Actress Anna Chlumsky; author, designer and reality star Jill Zarin; from TBS' "Are We There Yet?" Christian Finnegan; comedian, actress Loni Love

THURSDAY, JULY 12 - Actor Blair Underwood discusses his role in a Broadway classic; actor and comedian Chuck Nice; matchmaker Siggy Flicker (VH1's "Why Am I Still Single?"); how to dress like a celebrity for less

FRIDAY, JULY 13 - An interview with and performance by Wilson Phillips; "GMA" contributor Tory Johnson with Secret Deals and Steals for viewers; host of VH-1's "Tough Love" Stevie Ward and comedian Michelle Buteau face off

Beginning today, July 9, ABC News will air a one-hour extension of "Good Morning America" for nine weeks entitled "Good Afternoon America." The program will be anchored by "GMA's" Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer, with Sam Champion, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos joining in with special appearances. The energetic, fast-paced program will feature the most-talked about celebrities, performances by the biggest names in the music industry, the latest pop culture news, plus original entertainment, lifestyle, health, workplace and consumer reporting from an all-star list of contributors and other members of the ABC family.

"It's tremendous that 'GMA' has this opportunity to extend its reach and bring something new to the afternoons," said co-anchor Josh Elliott. "It is gratifying to play a role in it, and we genuinely hope our audience will come along for the ride." Co-anchor Lara Spencer added: "I am beyond excited and honored to be part of this new chapter for the 'Good Morning America' family. 'Good Afternoon America' gives us the opportunity to reach a different audience, and better yet, to spend a little more time with our morning viewers who want to be a part of the conversation and fun we plan on bringing to afternoon TV."

"Good Afternoon America" will air from 2:00-3:00 p.m., ET and will be taped at "GMA's" studio at the crossroads of the world, the heart of Times Square.
