Bio-Musical Scripted Drama CELIA Propels Telemundo to Best Performance Since 2012

TELEMUNDO's new bio-musical scripted drama, "Celia," propelled the network to its best performance at 8pm since 2012, BECOMING the most-watched program on Telemundo in its time slot in recent years among total viewers (1,754,000) and Adults 18-49 (675,000), according to Nielsen. Featuring a diverse Afro-Hispanic cast, "Celia" reached over 1,000,000 unique users across all digital platforms, generated 4,000,000 video on demand transactions and reached over 56,400,000 global Facebook users during its full run. Following the success of TELEMUNDO's original Super Series concept at 10pm, "Celia" is the first project under the network's innovative Bio-Musical genre, specifically programmed for the US Hispanic market.

On the heels of "Celia," TELEMUNDO's new 8pm romantic comedy, "¿Quién es Quién?" delivered 1,246,000 total viewers and 638,000 adults 18-49 during last night's premiere. Locally, the original production ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program at 8pm among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, and Miami, where it also ranked #1 regardless of language among adults 18-49. In Phoenix, the premiere ranked #1, in Spanish-language among total viewers. Socially, the premiere was the #1 most social show on Facebook among all Spanish-language shows at 8pm.
