Ryan's life is teetering more and more on the brink of insanity as he strives to find Theo before he causes more mayhem. Meanwhile, two familiar faces show up in Atlantic City and you bet your Nucky Thompson, they're not friendly ones.

Theo is not at all too pleased that he had to kill his family and now he is on a mission to mess with Ryan. From Ryan's car being reported stolen to his DMV records hacked to fraudulent credit card charges and even poor Gwen's records at the hospital being tampered with are just the beginning of what an Internet hacker can do. Theo recovers a notebook from Juliana's office with a code in it that he cannot break. Theo needs some assistance. He tracks down a down-on-his-luck ex-ranger, Gary Benson. Gary was discharged by a Captain and blames the Captain for his life falling apart. With Theo's encouagement, they take the Captain hostage as Gary vents and Theo kills him. While Theo is in the house, Gary uses Theo's phone to call his ex-wife Linda to tell her she made a huge mistake. But it is Gary who has made the mistake as the FBI traces his call.

Back at the FBI, Mike is informed that Daisy, Kyle and Mark were surveilling Max and the system was still working meaning someone was still watching. Max notices some flirtations between the agent and Mike and steps in to ask Mike to work with her on figuring it out. As they narrow in on locating the laptop, Tom catches on that he's about to get caught and demolishes the computer.

In Atlantic City, Daisy surfaces as a cocktail waitress. As she goes home with a patron, she flips out when he tries to take her clothes off and she kills him. Mark scares the bejeezus out of her (and me) when he pops up at the house telling her that "Mark" died and he was "Luke." When "Luke" tells Daisy to take her clothes off, she calls his bluff as he cannot take the touching and, surprise surprise, he's actually Mark. Daisy also figures out that the surveillance footage is still up and she can give Mark a way to find Mike Weston.

With only 36 hours left to live, Joe figures out that Strauss' best student is Theo. He beckons Ryan to visit, but he refuses. Instead, Theo's new assistant Gary, who turns out to be a guard comes face to face (with a camera on his badge) with Joe. Theo and Joe "catch up." Theo wants Joe's help cracking the code to locate Strauss' students and he can reestablish Joe's Following (thank you). Joe wants more, he wants to know about Ryan and threatens Theo to leave him alone. When the FBI traces Gary's call, they realize he is a guard at Joe's prison and the jig is up. Joe seizes the opportunity (and Gary's neck) and kills him, but not before stealing his sunglasses which he fashions into a weapon.

When Ryan comes to see Joe, it almost drives him to drink, but he stops in time. Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Gwen discovers she's pregnant.

Well, it took a while, but we got the slightest inkling that there is going to be an actual following on THE FOLLOWING again. Theo is trying to ressamble the truth even though Strauss went through great lengths to prevent the students from knowing each other. Why do we think that is? Joe wanted everyone to be united, Strauss wanted everyone kept apart. Odd.

Mark and Daisy are back. Yay! Is everyone over them or is it just me? Theo has proved to be way more interesting of an adversary that when Mark popped back up (even though it was startling), I wasn't all that invested in his return. I get it, Mark, you have Mommy issues. Let me introduce you to this Bates fella, I know. He runs a motel with his mother in Oregon.

And now, Ryan is going to be a father. Is there ANY chance that after all this he can have a happy life and a normal family? Any chance? At this point the loss of Gwen or his unborn child will be his undoing. Or was that the plan all along? Not to have Ryan Hardy get Joe Carroll and watch him die, but to actually become Joe Carroll? Ha! Wouldn't that be a crazy ending? The season is beginning to wind down and at this point, a Season four isn't looking likely, so will Joe Carroll actually be executed next week? From the looks of the preview, it doesn't look like he'll be going down without a fight.
