ARROW (Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (Robbie Amell) join Barry (Grant Gustin) as he tries to thwart Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh) once and for all on tonight's ep "Rogue Air." Sit tight, we'll get you up to speed.

We open with Reverse-Flash trying to convince Det. Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) to go whatever it takes to get the life he deserves.

At the coffee shop, Barry tries to convince Iris (Candice Patton) that Team FLASH will find Eddie.

At S.T.A.R. Labs, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) assembles the team. Reverse-Flash's use of a wheelchair (while under the guise of Harrison Wells) has perplexed him. He investigated the chair and found it's powered by a futuristic battery capable of powering all of the city.

And then an alarm goes off. Someone has rebuilt the particle accelerator and brought it back online. Barry realizes they couldn't find Reverse-Flash because Reverse-Flash never left the lab.

They rushed down to the meta human prison. Reverse-Flash has initiated code to release all of the meta humans they have spent the season collecting. Barry races after Reverse-Flash. Cisco freaks out. Peek-A-Boo (Britne Oldford) is the first one out of her cell. She materializes next to Joe (Jesse L. Martin), grabs his gun, pushes Cisco and Joe down and shoots the controls, locking them in the prison.

Peek-A-Boo is not happy about being stuck in the box and kicks the crap out of Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). She is about to pull the trigger and kill Caitlin when Iris sneaks up behind and knocks her out.

Barry chases after Reverse-Flash, but he's no match.

The team return Peek-A-Boo back to her cell and are about to close up shop when Joe hears Eddie's cries for help. They rescue him. Iris finds the ring he was going to give her.

Caitlin pumps Eddie full of some fluids while the gang pumps him for information. He doesn't have much (Reverse-Flash is working on a futuristic thingy that will enable him to get back everything he lost). Another alarm goes off. Cisco rushes to the alarm and in the process finds the futuristic thingy. He is not sure what to do as its technology is beyond his understand. It's set to fire up the accelerator in 36 hours, though.

Which causes concern for Caitlin. Reactivating the accelerator will fry all the villains currently being held in the make-shift prison. Barry reasons that the only place they can safely put the villains where they won't be able to hurt anyone is Lian Yu (the island that Ollie had to escape from on ARROW).

Joe confides in DA Cecil (Danielle Nicolet) to try and get her help in moving the prisoners. She reminds him that it amounts to unlawful imprisonment and human trafficing. She tells him she can't help him.

Joe breaks the bad news to Barry (and they were so close: Barry secured a plane from Diggle's wife). Barry has nowhere else to turn, but a seedy bar. He finds Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). Cold pops some coins into the jukebox. It plays Foreigner's "Cold as Ice." He has no intention of helping Barry with getting rid of people who don't like him. Barry counters that if they get out, the city that Cold says he loves will be destroyed. Cold writes a figure on a napkin. Barry tells him that is impossible. He asks Cold if there is anything else he can get him. Cold tells him he'll think about it.

Iris confronts Eddie after he has been avoiding her since the rescue. She shows him the ring she found and asks what changed his mind. Eddie tells her that Reverse-Flash showed him the future and she marries Barry in it.

At the Lab, Joe is furious with Barry for approaching Cold. Cold shows up with his offer: he wants the team to erase all traces of Leonard Snart so that only Captain Cold will exist. Barry agrees only to discover after he has done the deed that Cold has brought his sister The Golden Glider (Peyton List) into the mix.

Cisco borrows a semi from his uncle and outfits it with the energy source from the bottom of Dr. Wells' wheelchair. It will create a dampening field that will weaken the meta humans' abilities and the prisoner move is quickly put into motion.

Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) wakes up in the back of the truck. He tries to use his powers, but Peek-A-Boo tells him not to bother. None of their powers are working. The Mist (Anthony Carrigan) and Weather Wizard argue. Deathbolt (Doug Jones) is amused.

The truck arrives at the airport just as the containment field goes down and the meta humans all get their powers back. And to make matters worse, Weather Wizard's lightning storm hits the plane that was to transport them to the island prison.

A fight ensues. Wizard hits Barry with lightning, giving Deathbolt a chance to finish him off. Cold keeps his word, though. He freezes Deathbolt.

Except he doesn't. He frees the rest of the rogues and when Wizard asks why Cold killed Deathbolt, he tells him "he owed me money."

He tells Barry he is a criminal and he saw an opportunity: the rogues are now indebted to him. And, he correctly notes, this is really all on Barry. He should have never trusted the word of a criminal. Cold and his sister hop on his motorcycle and speed off.

If you thought Joe was going to take the high road and not tell Barry "I told you so," you would be wrong. And after he says that, he gives Barry a pep talk on how he isn't the ARROW. Barry understands there is a line between good and evil. The end results do not justify the means.

The pep talk ends when Cisco radios them that the particle accelerator is online. Joe and Barry rush back to the lab.

Iris, meanwhile, isn't prepared to let Eddie go. She fights for him, telling him that whatever future Reverse-Flash showed to Eddie, it is not her future, because she is capable of choosing her own destiny. He counters that everyone knows that Iris is in love with Barry. She agrees to end the relationship.

Reverse-Flash shows up outside the lab. Barry speeds out to confront him. But Barry isn't alone against Reverse-Flash for long. ARROW and Firestorm soon arrive. Barry and Reverse-Flash fight as Ollie screams for Barry to get out of the way. Barry is tossed into the glass S.T.A.R. Labs sign and Ollie takes his shot. Firestorm also flies toward Reverse-Flash, who spins his arms, creating a wind blast that throws Firestorm. Barry goes running off to catch Firestorm.

Ollie tells Reverse-Flash the arrow he shot him with has injected some nanites into his bloodstream, disabling his super speed. Ollie and Reverse-Flash exchange blows. Reverse-Flash gets his powers back and knocks Ollie over. He vibrates his hands and is about to reach into Ollie and pull out his heart when Barry speeds back, knocking him away from Ollie.

Reverse-Flash taunts Barry that he can't stop him. Firestorm shoots him with a fireball and Reverse-Flash falls off the top of a building onto a car. He gets up. Ollie shoots him with another nanite arrow. Reverse-Flash drops.

Barry thanks Ollie for the assist and he tells Barry that he might need his help soon. As in tomorrow on ARROW (or, if you live in Chicago as I do, Sunday because the season finale of ARROW isn't being shown on its regular night so we can have the pleasure of watching the Cubs lose to the Mets instead).

I suspect Reverse-Flash won't be down for long. We do have next week's season finale to look forward to. Nice to see the Rogues Gallery take shape. Your thoughts? Comment below and follow me @triggercric and follow @BWWTVWorld for all the latest updates, scoops and recaps.
