"Pretty Little Liars" has it's share of creepy episodes, but whoa, this one really didn't shy away from the creepy and uncomfortable. While we know Detective Tanner is hot on the liar's tail, can we please talk about the choir scene in the opening? English with Fitz seems to be the only class we ever see the Liars in, so switching it up and having all four girls eerily singing as they watch Tanner grill Ali must've been done for a reason other than sending chills down our spines.

Adding to the spooky factor, Emily and Sydney's relationship is definitely locking up as Syd let it slip that she knew the liars where in New York. I knew she didn't transfer to Rosewood for the swimming team! Now that we know she's working with Jenna and Mona, Rosewood's new swimmer is one to keep an eye on.

Speaking of keeping an eye on someone, what on earth is going on with our girl Hanna? Her sassy personality is more drab and mopey than Ms. Montgomery was during her divorce with Byron. On top of it all, Caleb's return is only seeming to hurt Hanna. The two are constantly boozing and, from the looks of it, Caleb has lost interest in school, but certainly not in Hanna's short skirts. I miss our old Caleb; this new one is almost making me wish Travis was back! We all know if Travis saw what Ella's fiance did to Hanna, he'd be throwing fists before Caleb could put his shot of whiskey down. Ugh, Zach just gives me the heebie jeebies. Not once, but twice he hit on Hanna only a day before his and Ella's engagement party! ABC Family's #CreepedOutHanna was totally on point this week, and, although I don't want to admit it, #PoorHanna was too. That's right, Spencer, Emily and Aria are still harping at Hanna and giving hardly any support. But, how can you blame them?

This week, however, did show Alison extending an olive branch to Hanna while Ashley goes total mama bear over Alison. I've got to admit, seeing Ali nearly brought to tears over Ashley's compassion was all kinds of right. The poor girl really does miss her mother! Or...mother figure anyways. Now, I can't mention Mrs. D without talking about the barn and Radley, can I?! Thanks to Aria and her investigative work at Radley, Spencer and Emily locate the barn where Mrs. D used to bring Bethany (the girl whose body was placed in Alison's grave). After talking to a worker, the girls learn that Jessica did frequent the stables with a young girl who occasionally threw tantrums, especially when Jessica tried to persuade her to call her "Aunt Jess." More so, Spence spotted Melissa's riding helmet at the stables. Creepy, right?

While this mystery girl is still unsolved, the persona behind "A" is also still a conundrum, as a hooded figure broke into the Marin house and then into the stables where Spencer and Emily were definitely spooked. UNTIL, Alison admits that Nole Kahn is the one who broke into the Marins! Could our blonde fibber be telling another lie? Most likely. But, I suppose we'll have to wait to find out!

Our eerie choir is heard once again at the closing of the episode and, personally, I love the take this episode has brought. After a few episodes of prolonging drama, PLL finally seems to be serving up the creeps in just the right areas.
