Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (GLEE, AMERICAN HORROR STORY), bring their newest anthology series to TV this year with FOX's SCREAM QUEENS. The show is a horror-comedy series, following a serial murderer on a college campus.

Emma Roberts (AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN) stars as Chanel Oberlin, president of the Kappa Kappa Tau (KKT) sorority at the fictional Wallace University. Dean Cathy Munsch, played by Jamie Lee Curtis (HALLOWEEN), demands that the sororities on campus allow any students to pledge, instead of limiting it to the wealthy. A mysterious murder takes place following these events, and the season to come will follow the investigation into the murder. As the body count rises, the mystery deepens, and the question of who is terrorizing the sorority will be answered. The show also stars Abigail Breslin (LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), Lea Michele (GLEE), Nick Jonas, and Ariana Grande (VICTORIOUS).

Here's what we know already: the show will be a mix of comedy and gory horror. Murphy and co. have shown their chops at the horror side with the American Horror Story series, but that show has been bogged down by its reluctance to give in to full-on camp. Scream Queens promises to be as campy as it can, which I for one am very much looking forward to. We know that the show follows a 20 year murder mystery, while also satirically addressing college Greek life. We know that the cast will be picked off as the season goes on, with 4 or 5 of them surviving at the end. We know that the cast does not know the ending to the show, and Ryan Murphy has kept the identity of the killer top secret. When filming the pilot, he told all the cast members to act like they were the killer.

Scream Queens is my most anticipated show of the fall premiere season. I'm especially excited for Emma Roberts as Chanel. I found Roberts to be by far the best part of American Horror Story: Coven, and after Roberts has said that Chanel is "way better than Madison Montgomery [her role on Coven]," I became infinitely more excited. I think the tone of the show, based on the campy horror-comedy premise set up by the trailer, is going to be one of the best and most unique aspects of the show.

I will be writing articles as each episode premieres. I hope to do a recap, followed by review, analysis, and my guess each week as to who the killer might be, and any other mysteries that pop up as the show continues.

Check out the trailer below:

Scream Queens airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX. The pilot is a two-hour premiere, starting at 8 p.m. on September 22nd. I will be reviewing it every week and I'm very excited to watch with y'all!
