BIG BANG Leads CBS to Big Thursday Night Win

Led by THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, PERSON OF INTEREST and ELEMENTARY, CBS handily won Thursday night in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 29.

8:00 PM’s THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in viewers (17.15m), adults 25-54 (7.0/17), adults 18-49 (5.4/16) and adults 18-34 (3.9/13). If the ratings hold, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. THE BIG BANG THEORY posted the series’ second-best viewer totals ever, the season’s second-best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings and delivered its best adults 18-34 ratings since Feb. 23, 2012.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in viewers (13.81m), adults 25-54 (5.5/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/11) and tied for first in adults 18-34 (2.7/09, with FOX) at 8:30 PM. Compared to the last first-run episode, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +8% in adults 18-34 (from 2.5/08) and was even in adults 18-49.

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in viewers (14.33m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and a close second in adults 18-49 (2.9/07, -0.1 behind ABC). PERSON OF INTEREST beat second-place ABC by +65% in viewers (vs. 8.71m) and +17% in adults 25-54 (vs. 3.6/08).

ELEMENTARY was first at 10:00 PM in viewers (10.36m) and adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and was tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, with ABC). ELEMENTARY beat NBC and ABC combined at 10:00 PM in viewers (vs. 10.11m, +2%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (13.39m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).
