BET AWARDS Misspell Name of Lifetime Achievement Honoree Lionel RichieSuperstar Lionel Richie was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at last night's 13th Annual BET AWARDS. Unfortunately, the 'All Night Long' singer's name was misspelled when he came up on stage to accept his trophy.

During the televised event, John Legend, Pharrell Williams and Yolanda Adams all paid homage to Richie by performing some of his most famous hits. But when the artist himself took to the stage, the name "Lionel Ritchie" flashed onscreen, including a misplaced 't' in his last name.

The error quickly began to trend on Twitter. Thus far, the 65-year-old soul singer has not responded to the network's blunder on his various social media sites.
