MTV today announced that pop superstar Ariana Grande will make her "MTV Movie Awards" debut to perform her new smash single "Dangerous Woman." "Colors" and "New Americana" singer/songwriter Halsey will also perform her new song "Castle" from the soundtrack for the forthcoming Universal release, "The Huntsman: Winter's War." Hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, the "2016 MTV Movie Awards" will air on Sunday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT from the backlot of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, Calif.

Previously announced presenters for include Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Olivia Munn and Gigi Hadid. Will Smith will receive the "MTV Generation Award." Additional presenters will be announced at a later date.In the span of a year, Grande captured #1 on the Billboard Top 200 twice - first with her Republic Records debut Yours Truly and also with its 2014 follow-up My Everything. Yours Truly yielded the game-changing pop smash "The Way" featuring Mac Miller, which went triple-platinum, landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, and seized #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs chart. Meanwhile, the platinum-selling My Everything garnered a Grammy® Award nomination for "Best Pop Vocal Album" and spawned the six-time platinum hit "Problem."
