According to Zap2it.com, RENT's Anthony Rapp and "2 Broke Girls" actress Brooke Lyons will guest star in the upcoming musical episode of "Psych".

Read the original report here.

Rapp will take on the role of the playwright, "Z", and Lyons will play "Elisa", the playwright's muse and original cast member of an "ill-fated" musical.

The musical episode tapes in October and will feature original songs by creator Steve Franks, plus, of course, the series' stars James Roday and Dule Hill.

In addition to his celebrated portrayal of Mark Cohen in RENT (West End, Broadway and touring productions), Rapp has performed in Without You on The West End, which he also wrote, as well as Broadway's The 24 Hour Plays 2005, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Six Degrees of Separation, Precious Sons and The Little Prince and the Aviator. His off-Broadway credits include Some Americans Abroad, Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, Private Jokes Public Places, Raised in Captivity, Trafficing in Broken Hearts, Sophistry, The Destiny of Me and more. Rapp also assistant directed next to normal off-Broadway in 2008.
