Amber Tamblyn Upped to Series Regular on CBS's TWO AND A HALF MEN

Amber Tamblyn, who began guest starring on TWO AND A HALF MEN this season, has been promoted to series regular. Tamblyn plays Jenny, Charlie Harper's illegitimate daughter who moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and to connect with what's left of her family. Jenny's now living in Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) beach house, along with her uncle Alan (Jon Cryer). She happens to like everything her dad liked - including women.

Tamblyn is an actress and writer who starred in the title role on "Joan of Arcadia," on the Network, which earned her both Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations. Her other television credits include "House MD," "The Unusuals" and "General Hospital," among others. Her feature film credits include "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" films, "127 Hours" and "Stephanie Daley," for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Tamblyn has published two books of poetry and prose. Currently, she is writing her third book of poems about the lives of child star actresses and she recently completed the screenplay "Paint It Black," based on the book of the same name. She is the producer of "The Drums Inside Your Chest," an annual poetry concert.

The 11th season of TWO AND A HALF MEN is broadcast Thursdays, 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
