All four broadcasts of NBC News were #1 in the key news demo A25-54 for the November 2016 sweep period, according to Nielsen Media Research data. NBC News' TODAY, NBC NIGHTLY NEWS with Lester Holt, Meet the Press and DATELINE NBC (Friday) also won the sweep among the coveted demo of younger viewers A18-49.

This marks the first time since 2002 that all four NBC News shows won a November sweep in both the advertiser-valued A25-54 news demo and younger viewers A18-49. All four programs also improved their A25-54 advantages over their ABC competition compared to the November 2015 sweep.

TODAY posted its best November sweep victory over GMA in five years. Nightly News delivered its best November sweep demo win over World News Tonight in three years. Meet the Press drew its biggest demo audience in any sweeps period since November 2008. Versus November 2015 sweeps, Dateline was up in total viewers (+837,000 or 21%), A25-54 viewers (+130,000 or 8%) and A18-49 viewers (+79,000 or 7%).
