In an interview with MTV's "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Al Pacino revealed he recently met with Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige.

"I would imagine either there's something he feels is right for me, or--" Pacino said before being interrupted by a phone call.

In a previous interview with ComicBook.com, Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY director James Gunn said he was a "huge, huge Al Pacino fan" and "would love to find a way to work with him, whether it was in a GUARDIANS movie or something else."

Although Gunn went on to clarify that the second GUARDIANS film is mostly "worked out," which would make writing in a new role difficult.

Pacino is currently prepping for his Broadway return in CHINA DOLL next fall and SALOME in the West End in 2016.

The actor most recently appeared onstage in the 2012 Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross. He has also starred on Broadway in The Merchant of Venice, Hughie, Chinese Coffee, American Buffalo, King Richard III, The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, Camino Real and Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? He won Tony Awards for 'Pavlo Hummel' and 'Tiger' and was nominated for 'Merchant'.

On the big screen, Pacino's recent credits include the TV movie PHIL SPECTOR, SALOME, THE HUMBLING, MANGLEHORN and the upcoming DANNY COLLINS.
