Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato to Return for New GLEE Episodes in 2014
While FOX's musical dramedy Glee takes a long winter break, reports and rumors over upcoming episodes have been popping up all over the media. In the latest news, International Business Times reports that guest stars Demi Lovato and Adam Lambert will reprise their roles in new episodes set to air in 2014.
In the continuation of Season 5, Lambert will reprise his role as 'Elliott' and will perform, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love," from The Darkness.
Lovato will once again portray 'Dani' in the show's 10th episode titled "Trio" in which Adam, Demi, and Chris Colfer's Kurt will be singing "The Happening" by The Supremes.
In addition, long-time Frenemies Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) will once again butt heads as Santana performs, "Don't Rain On My Parade" from Broadway's "Funny Girl," the show which is to star Rachel in her Broadway debut.
The 11th episode of the season will reportedly be titled, "City of Angels." Darren Criss recently took to Twitter to share his excitement on the episode. "Alright Nationals, bring it on," he tweeted. "Really big few days ahead of us. Good thing I actually really enjoy doin these songs... Let's boogie!"
Two days later, Naya Rivera tweeted a shout-out to returning cast member Heather Morris who will appear in the special 100th episode. "Unexpected Glee shoot today before the holiday break. Scenes with heather!" she tweeted.
Also confirmed for the special milestone episode are original Gleeks Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, and Mark Salling as well as guest star Kristin Chenoweth.
