Aaron Tveit and Kevin McHale to Co-Star in THEY MIGHT BE KENNEDYS Movie?

Rumor is stage star Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables) is in talks to co-star opposite GLEE's Kevin McHale (WetPaint reported McHale's involvement in May) in the upcoming comedy film THEY MIGHT BE KENNEDYS, according to a listing on IMDb.

Directed by John Burgess from a script by Ted Collins, THEY MIGHT BE KENNEDYS is also set to feature Neal McDonough as both 'Mr. Handcock' and 'Ted Kennedy', as well as Robert Belushi as 'Deputy Diller'.

IMDb describes the film: "In the summer of '89, two twenty somethings, looking to escape their dead end lives, pretend to be Kennedys to pick up girls and party like Cape Cod royalty. Based on True Events."

Tveit has appeared on Broadway in Next to Normal, Catch Me If You Can, Hairspray and Wicked. He was recently featured in Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Les Miserables as 'Enjolras'. Tveit also stars in the USA TV series Graceland and has Undrafted, Stereotypically You and Big Sky in his big screen queue.

McHale stars in Fox's musical comedy series GLEE as 'Artie Abrams' and will next be seen in the movie Boychoir.

THEY MIGHT BE KENNEDYS is aiming for a 2015 release.
