AVENGERS' Chris Evans Is Coming to Salt Lake Comic Con

Salt Lake Comic Con (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) announced today that actor Chris Evans will be at Salt Lake Comic Con on September 26, 2015, at the Salt Palace Convention Center, and he "wants you" to be there too.

Evans is best known for his roles as Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Johnny Storm/Human Torch in Fantastic Four. Captain America: Civil War is currently being filmed and is scheduled for release in 2016.

"In polling our fans, we know that Chris is a fan favorite, especially after the blockbuster success of Avengers: Age of Ultron and in anticipation of the soon-to-be-released Captain America: Civil War," said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Show Producer. "Captain America is such an iconic hero, and Chris does such a wonderful job playing him. We feel lucky to have him and know that our fans will be absolutely ecstatic to meet him."

Salt Lake Comic Con will be the first comic con event done by Evans that will include opportunities for fans to get photo ops and autographs from him at the show. He'll also be doing a panel with more than 5,000 attendees.

In addition to Evans, Salt Lake Comic Con 2015 will feature Sean Astin, Morena Baccarin, John Barrowman, Felicia Day, Alex Kingston, Scott Wilson, Linda Blair, Kristin Bauer, Ian Somerhalder, Robbie Amell, Daniel Cudmore, Walter Koenig, Vic Mignogna, Austin St, John, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Joel Hodgson, Christopher Gorham, Bill Corbett and Trace Beaulieu. More guests will be announced before the show in September.
