ATLWOOD Among Atlanta Independent Film Festival Line-Up

The Atlanta Independent Film Festival has just announced sixty-one of its official selections, including over two-dozen locally made films. The films are a broad spectrum of feature films, shorts, web series, and music videos. The festival will be awarding filmmakers, and will have some important panel discussions including "Women in Film," on Sunday, October 4th (5:00pm) featuring several women Directors.

The Atlanta Independent Film Festival will run October 1-25, with movie premieres on Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30pm and panels on Sunday's at 5:00pm. Atlanta's Pinch 'n' Ouch Theatre will host the festival and feature some films of their own including "Margo and the Universe", "The Mother Load", and "The Voyeur" starring Atlanta favorites, Joe Knezevich and David De Vries (both currently in "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest" at Alliance Theatre).

Other Atl-born films that will be featured in the festival: Dream Writers, The Drunks, PYTs, Bless Yer Heart, Horror Hotel, Bumblebees, Jinju, Before Christmas, 925, Learning to Fly, Lily & Lucy, iGirl, I Ha(s)ve Eyes, T.531, Mr. Lockjaw, Friends Like Mine, Spatial Relations, The Grand Prince of Moscow, Z.14.12, The Intruder, Hi Grandma, Heavy Water, and It Plays Like Love.
