ANNIE's Jamie Foxx to Headline Mike Tyson Biopic

According to Variety, the upcoming ANNIE film's Jamie Foxx will star in a new biographical movie about the life of boxer Mike Tyson.

The new film, as of yet untitled, will have a screenplay by Wolf of Wallstreet's Oscar Award-nominee Terence Winter. No further details have been revealed regarding what portions of Tyson's life the film will cover.

Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx is no stranger to biopics, having won his Academy Award for portraying Ray Charles in the biopic, Ray (2005). Other famous roles include the title character in Django Unchained, Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Curtis Taylor Jr., in Dreamgirls, and many others.

In addition, he will be playing the "Daddy Warbucks" character, Benjamin Stacks in the newest movie adaptation of the musical ANNIE, which will be released December 19, 2014.
