Discovery Channel's annual Prime Time week of programming titled "MEGA WEEK" aired from Dec. 10-16 and delivered mega ratings for the network, earning 1.56 HH AA% / 1.24 P25-54 AA% and 2.17 million total viewers P2+ for the week. Sneak Peek and Series Premieres of AMISH MAFIA, and Super-Sized episodes of AMERICAN CHOPPER, FAST 'N LOUD and MOONSHINERS pushed Discovery Channel to #4 in all of cable Prime Time in total viewers and set a new record for Men 25-54. Discovery Channel also beat broadcast network ABC among Men 18-49 and 25-54 for the week.

MEGA WEEK 2012 highlights included:

· Annual live event AMERICAN CHOPPER LIVE: THE REVENGE was the #1 cable program on Tuesday night among Persons and Men 25-54 and 18-49, Men 18-34 and M18+ delivery. It earned a 2.77 HH rating and a 2.51 P25-54 rating delivering 3.91 million total viewers P2+.

· The sneak peek premiere of all-new series AMISH MAFIA on Tuesday night earned a 2.51 HH rating a 2.13 P25-54 rating delivering 3.41 million viewers P2+ making it the highest-rated launch ever for a Discovery series among Persons and Men 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 delivery.

· MOONSHINERS hit a series viewership high with 3.41 million viewers Wednesday night and was the #1 cable program among Persons and men 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 delivery, no exclusions. The series premiere of AMISH MAFIA delivered 3.64 million viewers which increased viewership and HH from the sneak peek premiere on Tuesday. The shows were the #1 and #2 cable programs among HH, P2+, P18+, Persons and Men 25-54 and 18-49 delivery.

· With the premiere of GOLD RUSH, Discovery Channel was the #1 network in all of television Friday night among Men 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 ratings and delivery, and it out-delivered all broadcast and cable networks, including ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, among Men 25-54, 18-49, and 18-34 delivery.
