ALMOST HUMAN, NEW GIRL & More Propel Fox to No. 2 in Adults 18-49

ALMOST HUMAN, NEW GIRL, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, DADS, THE MINDY PROJECT, The X Factor and Glee helped propel FOX to the No. 2 spot for the week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Over its first three Mondays, Almost Human continues to excel in male demographics, currently outperforming FOX's prior average in the time period by +10% in Men 18-49 (2.2/6 vs. 2.0/6) and +13% in Men 25-54 (2.7/7 vs. 2.4/6).

On Tuesday, holiday episodes of DADS (+17%, 1.4/4 vs. 1.2/4) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (+7%, 1.6/5 vs. 1.5/4) both saw gains versus last week. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was the No. 1 broadcast program of the night amongst Men 18-34 (1.6/6).

Wednesday's Top 6 performance show of THE X FACTOR-WEDNESDAY (1.4/4) was up +17% from last week, while Thursday's results show was was up +40% from Thanksgiving Top 8 results show (1.0/3). In its fall finale, Glee (1.1/3) grew +22% from last Thursday (0.9/3).

An original Bones posted a 1.7/5, its highest Adults 18-49 rating since moving to Fridays, up +13% from its prior original telecast on Friday (three-week trend: 1.2/4 > 1.5/5 > 1.7/5). Bones was the highest-rated drama of the night and gave FOX its highest rating with an entertainment telecast in the Friday 8p hour in nearly two years (since Kitchen Nightmares on 1/13/12). Raising Hope posted a 0.8/2 at 9p and a 0.7/2 at 9:30p.

FOX won the night on Saturday among Adults 18-49 (3.9/12 from 8-11p). The Big Ten Championship on FOX outperformed ABC's prime average with the Florida State/Duke matchup by +167% (3.9/12 vs. 1.8/6, 8-11p) on Saturday night and led FOX to its highest rated Saturday night since the NFC Playoffs last January (vs. 9.6/26, FOX NFC Playoff Green Bay/San Francisco, 1/12/13, 8:30-11:36p).


FOX ranked No. 2 among the broadcast nets in Sunday prime among Adults 18-49 with a combination of an NFL overrun, The O.T. and original animated comedies. Among Adults 18-49, FOX delivered its highest rated 8-10pm animation block (2.5/6) in almost a year (since 1/13/13). Bob's Burgers (2.1/5, +31%) and AMERICAN DAD (2.1/5, +24%) each posted increases from last Sunday's originals which had repeat lead-ins. Versus their latest original telecasts two weeks ago, The Simpsons (3.1/8) was up +3% (3.0/7), while Family Guy (2.7/6) was up +23% (2.2/5) to post its highest rating in 9 months (since 3/10/13).

FOX had:

· 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (No. 4), The Simpsons (No. 9) and Family Guy (No. 12).

· 5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (No. 3), Family Guy (No. 5), The Simpsons (No. 6), AMERICAN DAD (No. 8) and Bob's Burgers (No. 13).

· 7 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (No. 3), The Simpsons (No. 6), Family Guy (No. 8), AMERICAN DAD (No. 9), Glee (No. 13), THE X FACTOR-Thu. (No. 16 tie) and Bob's Burgers (No. 16 tie).

· 1 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (No. 4).
