According to The Hollywood Reporter, daytime sudsers ALL MY CHILDREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE are set to premiere this Spring each weekday on iTunes, Hulu and Prospect Park's The Online Network. No exact date for the serial dramas' return has been announced.
The soaps were officially revived by Prospect Park and its The Online Network. According to the agreement, Hulu will manage advertising sales for both shows and package integrated sponsorship opportunities. Both shows will both be advertised on Hulu and its premium service, Hulu Plus.
In a statement announcing the news today, Prospect Park chairman and CEO Jeff Kwatinetz said, "I believe that both Hulu and iTunes have the vision, the reach and the technology to help us launch TOLN in a significant way. We think these platforms are part of history, helping us to transform distribution. Hulu's reach, platform and advertising prowess are best in class, and iTunes provides an incredible way to buy TV shows that is second to none."
He continued, "Through both of these partners, we hope daytime drama fans are absolutely delighted to be able to watch their favorite programs in a broadcast-quality HD format wherever and whenever they want."
