For Alicia Lagano, starring in the new Lifetime series The Client List is all about happy endings...in more ways than one.
After years spent guest-starring and recurring in roles on the small screen, the beautiful Lagano not only has a place to call home as a series regular, but also a juicy role: playing the main rival and antagonist to series producer and star, Jennifer Love Hewitt!
Lagano stars as 'Selena Ramos,' a masseuse at The Rub of Sugar Land, a seemingly ordinary spa that also offers "special" services to its male customers. Decked out in heels, designer outfits, and driving a hot Corvette, the materialistic 'Selena' emerged as the main rival to Hewitt's newcomer, 'Riley,' after her quick success and rise in popularity with both her associates and the clientele.
Season two of "The Client List" premieres Sunday, March 10th at 10pm, where we'll see Lagano's 'Selina' hook up with a new co-worker, grow leery of another, and have a major secret from her past revealed! In addition to Hewitt, the series also stars Globe-winner Cybill Shepherd and Emmy-winner LorEtta Devine.
Lagano's starring role in "The Client List" comes following dozens of credits on such shows as "The Mob Doctor," "CSI," "CSI: Miami," and "Bones" among others, with recurring roles on "Dexter" and "Prison Break." Her film credits include the Oscar-nominated PARANORMAN, ALBINO FARM with WWE star Chris Jericho, PRISON BREAK: THE FINAL BREAK, and BELIEVE IN ME with Jeffrey Donovan and Bruce Dern.
Born in Brooklyn to a large Irish-Italian family, Lagano moved to Portland as a youth and found her way down to Hollywood after high school. She had early success, booking her first television guest appearance in the Peter Engel-produced "Hang Time," which lead to a series regular role on the similar "All About Us," another Engel Saturday morning teen dramady for NBC. She found steady guest work after that, starring in such shows as "ER," "Judging Amy," "Without a Trace," and Hewitt's "Ghost Whisperer." She also starred in the Lifetime movie "The Truth About Jane" opposite Stockard Channing as well as in the Syfy MoW "Rock Monster."
A self-professed "reformed" tomboy, Lagano played basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, but nowadays relishes the chance to dress up. No amount of makeup, however, will stop her from shooting pool, belting out classic rock karaoke, or buying her dream car: a Chevy NOVA hot rod. An animal lover, Lagano lives in Los Angeles with her two dogs, a black Lab and a Labrador/German shepherd mix.
