ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" ranked as the No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 (987,000) on August 30, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" outperformed CBS' "Face the Nation" (762,000) by 225,000 and NBC's "Meet the Press" (810,000) by 177,000, leading each program by its largest news demo margins in 6 weeks - since 7/19/15.

"This Week" improved on its previous week's performance in Adults 25-54 (+5% - 987,000 vs. 941,000 on 8/23/15), standing as the only public affairs program to grow week to week. CBS' "Face the Nation" (-4%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-16%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-9%) all turned in losses.

For the 2nd week in a row, "This Week" scored double-digits increases on the year-ago Sunday (2.731 million and 839,000, respectively, on 8/31/14) in both Total Viewers (+12%) and Adults 25-54 (+18%). "This Week" has delivered year-to-year growth in 6 of the last 7 weeks in both measures.

Season to date, "This Week" ranks as the No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 (877,000), taking the top spot for the first time at this point of the season in 21 years - since the 1993-94 season. "This Week" leads CBS' "Face the Nation" (861,000) by 16,000 and NBC's "Meet the Press" (814,000) by 63,000.

"This Week" is up in Adults 25-54 (+6% - 877,000 vs. 830,000) versus its year-ago season average. Growing its Adults 25-54 performance for the 3rd year in a row, "This Week" is delivering its strongest news demo performance in 6 years - since the 2008-09 season. In fact, "This Week" is up the most in Adults 25-54, compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (-1%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (+3%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+1%).

In addition, "This Week" is outdelivering NBC's "Meet the Press" in Adults 25-54 (+63,000) for the 2nd-straight year, seeing its largest news demo lead in 21 years - since the 1993-94 season.
