ABC's THIS WEEK Ranks No. 1 in Adults 25-54

On June 8, 2014, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (906,000) for the 2nd straight Sunday, according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" led CBS' "Face the Nation" by 129,000 Adults 25-54 and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" by 446,000 Adults 25-54.

Growing its Total Viewer performance for the 2nd Sunday in a row, "This Week" (+5% - 3.074 million vs. 2.936 million on 6/1/14) drew its largest overall audience in 11 weeks - since 3/23/14.

"This Week" posted double-digit increases year to year in both Total Viewers (+19%) and Adults 25-54 (+35%) - 2.593 million and 673,000, respectively on 6/9/13. In fact, "This Week" has built on the year-ago Sunday for the last 7 weeks. In addition, "This Week" grew the most year to year in Total Viewers while standing as the only public affairs program to improve in the key adult news demo compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (+6%/-18%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+17%/-6%).

Season to date, "This Week" is up by double-digits in Total Viewers (+14%) and Adults 25-54 (+14%) versus its year-ago season averages. Growing in both measures for the 2nd year in a row, "This Week" is delivering its strongest performance in 5 years - since the 2008-09 season. In addition, "This Week" is up the most from the same point last season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 versus CBS' "Face the Nation" (+1%/+1%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-6%/-8%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+2%/-9%).

In addition, "This Week" leads NBC's "Meet the Press" this season in both Total Viewers (+137,000) and Adults 25-54 (+45,000), beating the NBC program during a season for the first time in 17 years in overall viewers and in 20 years in the key adult news demo - since the 1996-97 and the 1993-94 seasons, respectively.

NOTES: NBC's "Meet the Press" was pre-empted due to the Men's Final of the French Open.
