ABC Monday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.7 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49): ABC ran neck and neck with NBC for the Monday night lead among Total Viewers (5.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.6/6), while winning the night in Adults 18-34 and across all key Women.

ABC's "The Bachelorette" returned after the prior week's NBA preemption as Monday's No. 1 TV series for its 4th straight telecast in Adults 18-49 (2.0/8), topping NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" on the night (1.8/7). "The Bachelorette" was also Monday's most watched TV program overall.

"The Bachelorette" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 7.0 million and 2.0/8 in AD18-49): Ranking No. 1 in each half-hour from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelorette" beat NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" head to head by 11% among Total Viewers (7.0 million vs. 6.3 million) and 11% among Adults 18-49 (2.0/8 vs. 1.8/7). "The Bachelorette" grew for its 2nd consecutive Monday telecast in Total Viewers (+1%) to set a new season high and held even to equal a season best in Adults 18-49. In addition, the ABC unscripted series built on its comparable telecast last season (on 6/8/15) by 9% in Total Viewers and 11% in Adults 18-49.

"Mistresses" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.0 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49): At 10:00 p.m., "Mistresses" held even with its most recent telecast two weeks ago in Adults 18-49 and beat CBS' "Braindead" in the hour by 60% (0.8/3 vs. 0.5/2). "Mistresses" was up from its comparable year-ago Thursday telecast (Episode 3 on 7/2/15 at 9 p.m.) by 33% in Adults 18-49.

Projections Rationale: Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
