ABC's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Takes 2nd in Adults 18-49 and is No. 1 with Key Men

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 4.2 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):
Shooting up from its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. (+50%), ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." took second in its hour in Adults 18-49, beating NBC's "The Voice"-led comedies by 15% ("Undateable"/"One Big Happy" = 1.3/4). For the 2nd week in a row, the ABC drama was No. 1 in its slot among key Men (M18-34/M18-49). "S.H.I.E.L.D." was steady week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 1.6/5).

Based on its most recent Live + 7 Day ratings (3/3/15), "S.H.I.E.L.D." matched its 2nd-biggest percentage lift this season, shooting up +81% over its L+SD rating (from a 1.6 in L+SD to a 2.9 in L+7) to stand as Tuesday's biggest broadcast gainer among Adults 18-49. On average season to date, "S.H.I.E.L.D." is improving the time slot for ABC by 27% in the key young adult sales demo (2.8/8 vs. 2.2/6) over the same point last season.

"Forever" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.4 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m. with its first original in 3 weeks, ABC's "Forever" returned mostly steady to beat NBC's "The Night Shift" in the hour among Total Viewers (+7% - 4.4 million vs. 4.1 million) and nearly tie among Adults 18-49 (0.9/3 vs. 1.0/3). The freshman drama improved Tuesday's 10:00 p.m. hour for ABC from the year-ago night with original programming ("Mind Games" = 0.7/2) and, on average, season to date is boosting its slot by 70% in Adults 18-49.
