ABC's NIGHTLINE Ranks No.1 in Total Viewers for the Week of 11/7

ABC News' NIGHTLINE ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.579 million) during the week of November 7, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. Taking the top spot for the 3rd time in the last 6 weeks, "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.249 million) by 330,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.490 million) by 89,000.

"Nightline" surged by double digits from the previous week (1.387 million, 533,000 and 394,000 for w/o 10/31/16) in Total Viewers (+14%), Adults 25-54 (+19%) and Adults 18-49 (+19%) to post new season highs across the board. In fact, "Nightline" scored its strongest performance in all 3 measures in more than 4 months - since w/o 6/13/16.

"Nightline" improved on the same week last year (1.544 million, 608,000 and 465,000, respectively, for w/o 11/9/15) in Total Viewers (+2%), Adults 25-54 (+5%) and Adults 18-49 (+1%).

"Nightline" held the No. 1 telecast of the week in Total Viewers (1.744 million) and Adults 25-54 (743,000) with its Wednesday airing (11/9/16), leading every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Season to date, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+168,000 - 1.521 million vs. 1.353 million), Adults 25-54 (+30,000 - 579,000 vs. 549,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7,000 - 440,000 vs. 433,000).
