ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE Grows by Double Digits to 10-Week High in Key Demo

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of February 1, 2016, ABC was up over the prior week by 15% in Total Viewers (2.171 million vs. 1.883 million) to a 10-week high and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (609,000 vs. 553,000) to a 7-week high - since the weeks of 11/23/15 and 12/14/15, respectively.

ABC was the week's No. 1 network in late-night in Total Viewers (2.171 million), outdrawing NBC by 12% (1.933 million) and CBS by 19% (1.826 million). ABC ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49, beating CBS by 21% (609,000 vs. 504,000).

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F, 11:35 p.m.)
During the week of February 1, 2016, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" drew its biggest overall audience (2.461 million) and matched its strongest performance among Adults 18-49 (692,000) since Thanksgiving Week last November - since w/o 11/23/15. "Kimmel" shot up over the prior week (2.105 million and 617,000, respectively, on w/o 1/25/16) by 17% in Total Viewers and by 12% in Adults 18-49, standing as the only 11:35 p.m. talk show to post week-to-week growth among young adults (both NBC's "Fallon" and CBS' "Colbert" were down -3% each).

• ABC's "Kimmel" topped CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" by 8% in Adults 18-49 (692,000 vs. 638,000) to stand as the week's No. 2 late-night talk show. "Kimmel" virtually tied the CBS late-night talk show in Total Viewers, as just 34,000 viewers separated the two programs (2.461 million vs. 2.495 million).

"Nightline" (M-F, 12:35 a.m.)
ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 versus its CBS and NBC competition in Total Viewers (1.597 million) during the week of February 1, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" led CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.206 million) by 391,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.452 million) by 145,000.

In addition, "Nightline" beat the CBS program in Adults 25-54 (+123,000 - 616,000 vs. 493,000) and Adults 18-49 (+65,000 - 445,000 vs. 380,000).

"Nightline" turned in week-to-week gains (1.441 million, 549,000 and 425,000, respectively, on w/o 1/25/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+11%), Adults 25-54 (+12%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%). In fact, "Nightline" delivered its most watched week since November and best performance in the key Adult news demo since December - since weeks of 11/23/15 and 12/21/15, respectively.

"Nightline" aired the Top 2 12:35 a.m. telecasts of the week with its Thursday (1.761 million on 2/4/16) and Friday (1.708 million on 2/5/16) airings, beating every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
