ABC'S NIGHTLINE Stays Strong in New Time Period

On January 9, 2013, ABC's "Nightline" drew 1.613 million Total Viewers, 756,000 Adults 25-54 and 549,000 Adults 18-49, according to Fast National Preliminary Live + Same Day Nielsen data.

In night 2 in its new time period, "Nightline" ranked No. 1 versus its CBS and NBC competition in Total Viewers and in the key Adults 25-54 demo, outperforming CBS' "Late Late Show Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.466 million and 689,000, respectively) and NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.606 million and 755,000, respectively).

Compared to night 1 in its new time period, night 2 of "Nightline" saw increases of 13% in Adults 25-54 (756,000 vs. 669,000) and 18% in Adults 18-49 (549,000 vs. 464,000).

Versus ABC's performance in the time period on the year-ago night (1/10/12), "Nightline" was up by 14% in Total Viewers (1.613 million vs. 1.412 million) and by 4% in Adults 25-54 (756,000 vs. 730,000).
