The ABC Television Network has won the top ranking among broadcast networks in the Annual Myers Survey of Advertising Executives on National TV Sales Organizations.

Out of the eight broadcast networks, ABC Sales was named the overall top performer when averaging five categories evaluated by the organization. Those categories include "Value for the Investment," "Quality Sales Team and Customer Service," "Effective Upfront Presentation and Negotiations," "Multi-Platform Brand Extensions and Integration" and "Relevant Research Support and Intelligence."

In the Myers Survey, ABC also ranked No. 1 in "Quality Sales Team and Customer Service," "Multi-Platform Brand Extensions and Integration" and "Relevant Research Support and Intelligence" categories.

This is the second major survey in which ABC Sales has won the top spot. ABC won the top award as the Highest-Rated Media Company in the 2011 Advertiser Perceptions Intelligence Report, a far-reaching survey of leading advertisers in the United States. ABC also ranked No. 1 in the "Brand Strength and Sales Knowledge in Broadcast Television" category, and won more categories overall than any other media company. ABC was selected as the overall No. 1 media company out of more than 25 media companies, and more than 500 media brands, measured across all media, including broadcast, cable, print, digital, mobile and other advertising networks.

"We push ourselves to innovate in all areas -- research, creative marketing opportunities and platform technologies," said Geri Wang, president of ABC Sales. "But the most important thing we do is to focus on our clients' priorities and goals, and deliver strategies that ultimately pay off for them. We're happy to see our customers responding positively to those efforts."

Sixty-five national TV organizations and seven leading digital companies were rated by 405 advertiser and agency executives, which is the largest respondent base in the 27 years that Myers has conducted the survey. Performance results were based on a five-point scale for each of five attributes measured for all 72 organizations.

Additionally, in the "Other National TV and Online Media" category, Disney-ABC Domestic Television, a division of ABC Sales, scored first in "Effective Upfront Presentation and Negotiations" and second on the overall ranking.
