Deadline.com reports that new comedies are on their way to the ABC and CBS networks.  Jenji Kohan, creator and executive producer of 'Weeds' and writer David Holstein have sold a comedy to CBS which is described as 'Sliding Doors meets Seinfeld'.  The project will come from Lionsgate TV.

Gail Lerner, co-executive producer of ABC's 'Happy Endings' and producer Warren Littlefield have also sold a comedy to ABC. According to Deadline, it will be based on the upcoming memoir 'The Men On My Couch: True Stories of Sex, Love and Psychotherapy, written by Dr. Brandy Dunn and David Rensin.  It will follow a female therapist with a client list made up of men only. She will begin to realize that hearing so many confessions from men about what 'makes them tick' will create problems with her own love life.
