ABC Picks Up MISTRESSES for Second Season

ABC has confirmed through Twitter that they have picked up the summer drama series MISTRESSES for a second season.

A message on the ABCPublicity Twitter site read: "Confirmed - #Mistresses has been picked up for a second season! @Mistresses_ABC"

No details were revealed as to the number of new episodes ordered or when they may be broadcast.

MISTRESSES was a ratings success for the network, ending its season this Month by delivering a viewer high and matching its highest results in the highly coveted 18-49 age demographic.

Based on the hit UK television series of the same name, "Mistresses" is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery.

"Mistresses" stars Alyssa Milano as Savannah ("Savi") Davis, Yunjin Kim as Karen Kim, Rochelle Aytes as April Malloy, Jes Macallan as Josslyn Carver, Brett Tucker as Harry Davis, Jason George as Dominic Taylor and Erik Stocklin as Sam Grey.
