The Television Academy tonight presented the first of its two 2016 Creative Arts Emmy® Awards ceremonies for programs and individual achievements at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. This initial awards ceremony of the 68th Emmys honored guest performers on television drama series and comedy series, as well as The Many talented artists and craftspeople behind the scenes who create television excellence. Executive produced by Bob Bain, this year's Creative Arts Awards featured an array of notable presenters, among them Rachel Bloom, Mel B, Joanne Froggatt, Michael Kelly, Margo Martindale, Laurie Metcalf, Bob Newhart and Bradley Whitford. Part two of the Creative Awards Emmy Awards will take place tomorrow night, Sunday September 11, 2016.

Amongst tonight's categories, our hopes of an EGOT for Alan Menken were dashed (for the year) with Diane Warren's win for Music & Lyrics for 'Til It Happens To You from The Hunting Ground. Scroll down for the full list of winners for the night!

The big winner so far? HBO's GAME OF THRONES.
