VOICEBOX: Opera in Concert Presents THE STRESSED-OUT IMPRESARIO: Singers vie for pre-eminence and the audience gets to cast a vote! Sunday October 6, 2013, 2:30 p.m at St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Jane Mallett Theatre.

THE STRESSED-OUT IMPRESARIO is an exciting twist on Mozart's famed one-act satire, THE IMPRESARIO. Drawing on other works and featuring an exciting new libretto by General Director, Mr. Guillermo Silva-Marin, this show promises to leave everyone laughing and utterly relaxed. Everyone but the Impresario himself, that is!

VOICEBOX is excited to open its season with a unique first offering featuring a

strong cast including sopranos Leigh-Ann Allen, Vania Chan and Tessa Laengert,

mezzo-soprano Christina Campsall, baritone Domenico Sanfilippo, and tenor

Keenan Viau.

Under the accomplished hand of Music Director Ms. Raisa Nakhmanovich and

accompanied by the unparalleled sounds of the VOICEBOX: Opera in Concert

Chorus directed by the incomparable Robert Cooper, we're sure your ears will

be singing with pleasure!

Her education is impressive, coming from the University of Toronto, where she recently completed a Master's Degree in European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. Alison is a keen opera fan and loves the full diversity of the musical arts. She considers herself a lifelong learner and also has a passion for history, politics, philosophy, urban affairs, maps, animals, fitness, and various sports.
