Tony Winner Annaleigh Ashford Welcomes Son Jack Clark

KINKY BOOTS star Annaleigh Ashford and husband Joe Tapper have welcomed their own little Broadway baby! The actress' rep has confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE that son Jack Clark arrived on Thursday, September 8th at 6:36 a.m. in Los Angeles, weighing in at 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measuring 21 inches long.

The couple, who wed in 2013, told PEOPLE, "There are no words to describe our joy when we first met our Jack."

The Tony-winning actress will next be seen in the role of Columbia, the castle's feisty live-in groupie, in the two-hour television event THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, airing October 20th on FOX.

Ashford most recently starred in the title role of the revival of playwright A.R. Gurney's "Sylvia," opposite Matthew Broderick. She won a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for her portrayal of "Essie Carmichael" in the Broadway revival of Moss Hart andGeorge S. Kaufman's "You Can't Take It With You." Ashford received her first Tony Award nomination for the role of "Lauren" in the Tony Award winning musical "Kinky Boots."
