The Metropolitan Opera Guild presents A German Repertoire Showcase Sunday, October 23: 4:00-5:30pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library of the Performing Arts,Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street entrance (111 Amsterdam Ave).

The Metropolitan Opera Guild, publisher of OPERA NEWS and the world's premier arts education organization dedicated to enriching people's lives through opera, presents A German Repertoire Showcase, hosted by renowned soprano Jane Marsh. The mini-recital features the works of three great German composers (Beethoven, Wagner, and Strauss) performed by baritone Bryan Glenn Davis, sopranoElizabeth Beers-Kataria, and pianist Mitchell Cirker.

Ms. Marsh, who was the first singer to win the Gold Medal at Moscow's International Tchaikovsky Competition, leads master classes in the U.S. and Europe. She joined the Guild's roster of presenters in 2007, is the co-creator of the Guild's Masterly Singing series, and currently serves as Artistic Advisor and Program Consultant.
