After 31 years of artistic excellence and inspirational leadership, General Director Speight Jenkins passes the baton to Aidan Lang this summer.

A celebration will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at McCaw Hall. Join us for an extraordinary concert honoring the 30-year tenure of our beloved General Director Speight Jenkins and celebrating Seattle Opera's 50th Anniversary. Accompanied by the Seattle Opera Chorus and members of Seattle Symphony Orchestra, many of Seattle Opera's best-loved singers will pay tribute to Speight in concert at McCaw Hall.
