The Old Opera House Theatre Company will present City of Angels- A musical-comedy by Larry Gelbart, Cy Coleman and David Zippel

Two shows in one! City of Angels weaves two plots; the writing of a screenplay in the legendary Hollywood of the 1940's; the other, the enactment of that screenplay. This double feature quality leads to many other unique production values, the most notable being that City of Angels is probably the only "color coded" show any theatre audience is likely to see. The movie scenes appear in shades of black, white and shades of gray, while the real life scenes are in full color.

In addition, City of Angels will include one of the largest orchestras ever to appear in the Old Opera House orchestra pit. Musical Director Jonas Dawson explained that this show mixes elements of jazz and traditional big-band styles and simply requires a full orchestra to bring the richness of the musical score to the surface; and he promises to have some of the area's most talented musicians ready to play the high-energy score.

All this, and the curtain comes down on TWO happy endings!! A musical experience you simply don't want to miss!!

Director David Norman and Musical Director Jonas Dawson have assembled a truly outstanding cast for this musical, including Steve Barney, Jessica Billones, Christine Brewer, Caroline Cash, Jeanine Collins, Dan Henderson, Will Heyser, CharLes Johnson, Eric Jones, Johnna Leary, Andrew McClain, Bruce Olson, Karen Paone-McDonald, John-Michael Rolnick, Ashley Snow and Steve Steele.
