At last night's Democratic National Convention, viewers who were able to watch the stirring speech by Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala were greatly moved by their words. The Pakistan-born immigrants told the Democratic delegation how their son Humayun sacrificed his life in order to save his comrades. The soldier posthumously received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his bravery.

Unfortunately, viewers who had tuned into the event on Fox News were never able to see the speech which many deem to be the most powerful of the evening. That is due to the fact that the cable news channel opted to cut away from the appearance, instead broadcasting a series of pre-packaged stories including a press conference given by FBI Director James Comey which took place over 24 hours earlier.

Later in the evening, FOX addressed the Khan's speech by bringing in two other Muslims who supported Donald Trump. As one praised the Republican candidate for prompting Democrats to address Muslim issues, the other used their time in the spotlight to criticize President Obama for not using the phrase "radical Islam."

According to Variety, FOX representatives were not immediately available to comment.

Below, watch Khizr Khan appearance in full, in which he asks Trump directly if he has ever read the U.S. Constitution.
