On Monday, Oct. 29, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, AEG Live and Clark County welcomed Guns N' Roses to Las Vegas by temporarily declaring Paradise Road as Paradise City Road in honor of the band's first-ever residency Appetite for Democracy. The street pays tribute to Guns N' Roses record-breaking single "Paradise City" and will keep its new name through the band's run at The Joint, Wednesday, Oct. 31 – Saturday, Nov. 24. Check out the photos from the event below!

A crowd of fans gathered to witness the unique occasion and cheer on the legendary group. Guests of honor included Guns N' Roses band members DJ Ashba, Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson, Richard Fortus, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Chris Pitman and Frank Ferrer. Clark County Commissioner Mary Beth Scow led the ceremony by declaring the street to be temporarily named Paradise City Road and presenting Guns N' Roses with an official street sign. AEG Live Las Vegas' Vice President John Nelson and Marketing Director Suzanne Richardson and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Chief Operations Officer Jody Lake and Vice President of Entertainment Paul Davis all gave a few remarks about the groundbreaking residency. Following cheers from the crowd, each band member made a statement thanking Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas and all of their fans for their support.

Guns N' Roses takes over Sin City with their first-ever residency Appetite for Democracy at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Each night, the band will perform an electrifying show featuring a set list created exclusively for The Joint. Appetite for Democracy will span the band's biggest hits from their debut album Appetite for Destruction (1987) through their platinum-selling record Chinese Democracy (2008). Exact details about the show are being kept under wraps but fans can expect the raw and gritty heavy metal Guns N' Roses is known for along with a few surprise elements. Produced exclusively by AEG Live, Appetite for Democracy is unlike any show the band has ever done before or will ever do again.
