THE HANDGRENADES

BIO:
Consistently delivering catchy hooks and 3-part harmonies, The HandGrenades have made quite a name for themselves since their formation in 2008. Brothers Andrew and Tom Pawelski, Nick Chevillet, and Joby Kaslowski cite Motown and the British Invasion as primary influences, coupled with modern acts like The Walkmen and French Kicks. In 2011, The HGs hit the studio to record Three Cheers for the Wonder Years – an EP mixed by Kevin McMahon (Real Estate, Titus Andronicus) and released by Sound Artifacts Music. Following a stint at 2012’s SXSW, The HandGrenades partnered with Jim Diamond at Ghetto Recorders (The White Stripes, Electric Six) to independently release their full-length record, The Morning After. Both albums are available online in the US and EU via digital distributors, and the band is currently in-studio recording tracks for a third record.
