BIO:
Moonlight Label (USA) and Newmarket Music (Au) presents Australian blues-rocker Michael Charles. This artist spellbinds his audience with his phenomenal guitar performances and Michael brings to the stage exceptional and unique music from a discography of 25 releases with genres of blues, rock, and hip hop.. Charles has performed in some of the top festivals and venues in his homeland and in the USA including the House of Blues in Chicago, the Chicago Blues Fest, Philadelphia Jazz and Blues Fest, the Moomba Festival and the Lygon Street Festival. Michael has a wealth of history as he was originally brought to America by Buddy Guy. MC has played with Buddy, Junior Wells, Eddy Clearwater, and a host of others, and toured for a year with Jimmie Dawkins. Seen on WGN television, JBTV, read about in the Chicago Tribune, heard on a multitude of radio stations and seen on numerous television shows here and abroad, and with his latest CD's elected in the 2008 50th Grammy Awards, the 2010 and 2011Grammy Awards Michael Charles has definitely become a part of the American music scene too!
