iHeartMusicAwards Non-Televised Awards Will Be Available Via Snapchat

For the first time ever artists from iHeartRadio Music Award categories, that are not included in the live telecast, will be snapping 10 second acceptance speeches to fans throughout the day on Saturday, March 4. These artist acceptance snaps and other moments from the iHeartRadio Music Awards can be seen on Snapchat and will be featured throughout the live broadcast on Sunday, March 5 on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live from the historic Forum in Los Angeles. Fans can also follow the latest news on the awards including nominees and winners on iHeartRadio's Snapchat Discover channel and a Live Story coverage of the Red Carpet pre-show and live telecast.

The evening will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will include performances by Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Thomas Rhett, Noah Cyrus featuring Labrinth and Big Sean, plus Coldplay's Chris Martin joins The Chainsmokers for their first U.S. television performance together of "Something Just Like This".

Award presenters of the March 5 telecast include Ansel Elgort, Bebe Rexha, Daya, Demi Lovato, DJ Khaled, Florida, Georgia Line, Halsey, Jason Derulo, Joe Jonas, John Legend, Karrueche Tran, Kelsea Ballerini, Macklemore and Miley Cyrus.

iHeartRadio will also honor Bruno Mars with its most prestigious award of the evening - the 2017 iHeartRadio Innovator Award - for his undeniable impact on the world of popular culture and will pay tribute to their unparalleled contributions to the music industry and social causes.

Nominees for the iHeartRadio Music Awards were announced on January 4 and the full list of category finalists can be found at iHeartRadio.com/Awards. Fan voting will determine this year's Best Fan Army presented by Taco Bell, Best Lyrics, Best Collaboration, Best Cover Song, Best Song from a Movie and the first-ever Best Music Video, Social Star Award and Best Underground Alternative Band awards. Social voting for the Social Star Award and Best Fan Army presented by Taco Bell award began through iHeartRadio's social sites and in the iHeartRadio App on January 3 and social voting for all other categories began on January 4 and closed on February 24, though voting for the Social Star Award and the Best Fan Army Award presented by Taco Bell will continue through the evening of the awards on March 5.
