HARD EVENTS-the world-renowned event and festival producer recognized for landmark festivals such as HARD Summer,HARD Day of the Dead and the three-day electronic music cruise Holy Ship!!!-has once again teamed up with leading New York City-based independent concert promoter The Bowery Presents for a headlining, bass-banging show withelectronic production duo Zeds Dead October 4 at NYC's Terminal 5. Zeds Dead-bass and hip-hop producers DC andHooks-will be joined by producers/artists RJD2, Paper Diamond, Green Lantern and Branchez. Tickets for the show are available now at Ticketmaster: http://bit.ly/174MJvi.

Since the turn of 2013, Toronto-based Zeds Dead have released their critically acclaimed Hot Sauce EP on Diplo's Mad Decent imprint, have enjoyed the global broadcast of their first-ever Essential Mix on Pete Tong's world famous BBC Radio 1 show and have given away hundreds of thousands of downloads of hit tracks including an enormous edit of Juicy J's"Ratchet" and their thunderous remix of Marina & The Diamonds' "Lies." True to form, the in-demand electronic production duo is showing no signs of slowing down whatsoever.

Zeds Dead first hooked up in 2004 and formed Mass Productions. Influenced by the digging-in-the-crates sampling school of hip-hop, Mass Productions released one independent album in the summer of 2007 entitled Fresh Beetz. It was their first and only release. In the summer of 2009, the two launched their second collaboration-Zeds Dead-turning up the BPM and aiming the bass lines at the dance floor. As two of the hardest workers in electronic music, Zeds Dead's tireless efforts have earned them an excellent reputation amongst a new generation of producers as artists without borders-genres hold no bearing over their music as they transcend style and form with ease. They have established themselves as a dominant force in EDM circles and have received recognition and praise from tastemakers worldwide. Catch them live and you'll know: Zeds Dead is here to stay

Catapulted to notoriety, fame, and serious hip-hop credibility with 2002's Dead Ringer LP, Philadelphia-based DJ and multi-instrumentalist RJD2 has enjoyed a thoroughly prolific career, following that debut album with 2004's critically acclaimed Since We Last Spoke. For The Third Hand (2007), RJD2 seemingly abandons all the notions and titles that have been placed upon him. Underground hip-hop super-producer to some, virtuoso sample-based instrumental wizard to others,RJD2 embodies all of these things on The Third Hand, but placates none who seek more of the same. Recorded, performed, arranged and produced entirely by himself in his basement studio, RJD2 commands his trusty MPC 2000XLsampler/sequencer alongside analog synths, electric pianos and guitars, not to mention his own voice. The result is a cohesive pop album in the most classic sense, a sound more akin to Phoenix than Prefuse 73. In essence, this is RJD2's entrance into the continuum of enigmatic songwriters/producers (see Jon Brion, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder) capable of creating a record full of rich songwriting, complex arrangements and clever production that transcends genre. RJD2's last artist album The Colossus was released in 2010 with various EPs, singles, mix albums, instrumental albums and collaboration projects in between and thereafter. In addition, RJD2's track "A Beautiful Mine" is currently used as the opening theme for AMC's critically acclaimed drama series Mad Men.

Joining the party is Colorado-based DJ and electronic music producer Paper Diamond, who recently released his brand new EP Paragon, featuring artists including Protohype, Gavin Turke and Cherub, among others. Paper Diamond also recently released the inaugural HARD SUMMER Future Stars mini-mix series, which features select up-and-coming acts on the official artist lineup this year.
