Formed in 2002, the group has averaged over 150 shows per year for over a decade. Each performance is a high energy musical and visual experience that leaves crowds breathless.
The Booty Band's current tour schedule is taking them through the South and East Coast with over 19 dates slated for the 6-piece powerhouse in just over a month. From Missouri to Illinois to Florida, the group will be stopping in many key cities including Richmond, VA, Nashville, TN, and Atlanta, GA, before the tour culminates on NYE at the Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC. Experienced and excited to play anywhere from intimate venues to large clubs and dance halls, the Booty Band strives continually to support and entertain their ever-widening fanbase across the nation.
At the start of the New Year, the group will continue working on their new and highly anticipated studio project, set for March 2013. Under the expert ear of Echo Mountain Studios, located in Asheville, NC, the group will be recording their third original studio album and are expecting a cleaner and more refined sound while still delivering the edgy, driving rhythms that are truly Booty. Relentlessly pursuing the development of and depth of their style, the new project will feature a couple tracks that slow down into some seriously deep grooves, allowing the band to explore even deeper the scope of their abilities.
Showcasing the breadth of their talents, and impeccable sense of style, the band has recently released their new official music video: LOVIN'. Frontwoman Mary Frances carries the listener on a sensual, soulful, journey, while each member of the group builds the orchestral composition of the melody, exploding in highs and lows throughout the tune.
