In downtown White Plains, a three day jazz celebration will commence on September 6, 7 and 8. There will be outdoor jazz concerts, stand up comedy by Bill Cosby and many restaurants around to choose from.

Friday, 9/6 :

12:10pm at Downtown Music at Grace: The Art Bennett Quartet, featuring Sonelius Smith on piano, Ed Petillo on bass, and Steve Dunn on drums. Free Admission

8 pm at Arts Westchester: Latin Jazz, Food and Spirits:
Bobby Sanabria and Quarteto Aché - Latin and jazz drummer Bobby Sanabria is a percussionist, composer, arranger, recording artist, producer, filmmaker, conductor, educator, multi-cultural activist, and multiple Grammy nominee. $35 Individual Ticket. $50 Patron Sponsor. Saturday, 9/7:
2 - 3pm at The White Plains Library: Julia Breanetta Simpson Trio in Julia and the Duke - A Tribute to Duke Ellington. Free Admission.

Between Mamaroneck & Martine Avenues - The City of White Plains Presents: The White Plains International Food and Jazz Fest

11:30am -12pm: The Pro-Am Ensemble - Ray Blue's summer educational band
12:05 -12:50pm: Ray Blue Quartet - classic small group ensemble performing standards and originals
1:20- 2:10pm: Sage - all women's jazz ensemble from Mount Vernon
2:40 -3:30pm: Gilberto Colon Jr. & Ensalada De Pulpo - Yonkers-based Latin jazz pianist leads full 12-piece band
4:00- 5pm: Bernie Williams and Gil Parris - the former New York Yankee and guitar virtuoso closes the festival
