On Saturday, February 8th, R&B singer Virgil Gibson headlines "Remember the Magic" a concert that brings back the great sounds of the doo-wop era, with tunes like "Only You," "Up On The Roof," "In The Still Of The Night," "You Send Me," "My Girl," "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" and many more. The former lead singer of The Rivingtons ("Papa Oom Mow Mow") and Paul Robi's Platters in the '60s and '70s, Gibson's repertoire also includes gospel, country and pop. Elvis Tribute performers Chris Luna and Jacob Roman will also appear.

Virgil's recent CD recordings, "Virgil Gibson Sings the Oldies" Volume I and II, bring back the best of the Golden Age of the 50's and 60's music. Audiences of all ages and cultures thrill to Virgil's six octave voice and charismatic personality. Virgil recently completed, "I Made It Back Home", an album of traditional gospel favorites. Virgil's limited edition CD single, "Be My Christmas Present," is a favorite any time of year.

Virgil appears at The Grove for one night only. The concert begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $25 with senior, student and group discounts and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, or by visiting The Grove box office or website at http://www.grovetheatre.com.
