UNDER THE COVERS with Victoria Shaw is to give an encore performance with special guest Jim Brickman, 5/16, Birmingham, AL.

Back for an encore performance this season! hosted by Victoria Shaw, UNDER THE COVERS has become a recurring highlight at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City, featuring a wide variety of top-selling songwriters and musical acts from across the pop, rock and country worlds, and offering intimate acoustic performances of huge hit songs - along with the little-known stories behind them. You never know who may show up to join Victoria UNDER THE COVERS! Victoria performed at Merrimack Hall, Birmingham in August 2011 to a sold-out crowd. Now she's back with new guest artists in December.

Responsible for over 65 million album sales, Victoris Shaw is best-known as the writer of "The River," one of Garth Brooks's biggest hits, as well as "I Love The Way You Love Me," recorded by John Michael Montgomery, and "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely," performed by Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera. Recently, she co-produced the debut CD of superstar Grammy-winning country trio Lady Antebellum. Her songs have been recorded by such major stars as Olivia Newton John, Boyzone, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Michael McDonald. The winner of two Emmy Awards, she is also an accomplished singer, releasing four albums and touring extensively throughout the U.S. and across Europe.

Jim Brickman has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star-studded vocal collaborations. Since the release of his debut album No Words in 1994, Jim Brickman's romantic piano sound has made him the best-selling solo piano artist of our time. Brickman's best-known compositions include the chart-toppers "Valentine," "The Gift," "Love of My Life," "Simple Things" and "Peace." He's established a reputation for his collaborations with many gifted musical artists: Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. Smith, Carly Simon, Herb Alpert, Collin Raye, Michael Bolton, Donny Osmond, and Olivia Newton-John. His signature style has brought him six Gold and Platinum albums, 30 charted adult radio hits, and two Grammy nominations. He recently tied for most Number One albums on Billboard's New Age chart, and he currently holds four of its Top 10 spots.
